"Die Querbeat-Story: radikal positiv! Ein 11-köpfiges kreatives Kollektiv will machen. Und spielen. Die Band lebt für die Bühne, für den Rausch in Energie aus Publikum und Tönen. Querbeat ist eine Summe von Statements: Festivalband, Jazz-Cracks, irgendwie Karneval und 'ne Prise Punk-Attitude. Crowdsurfen, Moshpit, Sommervibes und bewegende Live-Momente. Einmal alle Schubladen voll Anarchie bitte.
Was klar ist: Querbeat ist anders. Mit viel Brass-Instrumenten, klarer politischer Haltung, rauem Gesang und Live-Energy wie eine einzige Ansage: Früher wird alles besser! Tage muss man mit Liebe verschwenden, Nächte macht man gefälligst durch – „Guten Morgen Barbarossaplatz“, liebe Welt.
Das aktuelle, dritte Studioalbum „Radikal Positiv“ (Platz 2 in den deutschen Albumcharts) und die beiden Vorgänger-Alben „Fettes Q“ und „Randale & Hurra“ haben gemeinsam über 200 Millionen Streams eingesammelt. Neue Musik ist Prio Nummer 1, und nach der erfolgreichen Single „Eisbär“ (08.03.24), verwirklichte man Querbeat DNA in den „Barcelona Tapes“.
Das Q-Konzept? Mit Kreativität überleben! Und sich verbünden, spielend. Ausverkaufte Touren, namhafte Festivals in Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz und … Spanien. Ja, Festivals muss man feiern wie sie kommen, also gerne auch ein eigenes! Gesagt, getan: Im Juni 2024 schon Vol.3 von „Randale & Freunde“ in der Bonner Rheinaue mit jeweils 25.000 Menschen.
Querbeat verkauft die Kölner Lanxess Arena wieder aus, eröffnet die Mainstage von Rock am Ring. Spoiler: Der Sommerwind 2025 weht Querbeat-Sound über die Camps und durch alle weltoffenen Bulli-Türen. Mit Hurricane/ Southside und Pinkpop stehen weiter Mainstages im Navi. Dabei immer eine liebevolle Ansage an politische Haltung und nachhaltiges Handeln. Auch eine Attitude die man erstmal in bald 20 Jahren Bandleben nicht verlieren darf. Querbeat ist Nähe, Liebe und der radikale Glaube an das Gute."

The current, third studio album “Radikal Positiv” (number 2 in the German album charts) and the two previous albums “Fettes Q” and “Randale & Hurra” have together collected over 200 million streams. New music is priority number 1, and after the successful single “Eisbär” (08.03.24), Querbeat DNA was realized in the “Barcelona Tapes”.
The Q concept? Survive with creativity! And joining forces, playfully. Sold-out tours, renowned festivals in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and ... Spain. Yes, you have to celebrate festivals as they come, so you might as well have your own! No sooner said than done: in June 2024, Vol. 3 of “Randale & Freunde” in Bonn's Rheinaue with 25,000 people each time.
Querbeat sells out the Lanxess Arena in Cologne again and opens the main stage of Rock am Ring. Spoiler: The 2025 summer wind blows Querbeat sound over the camps and through all cosmopolitan van doors. With Hurricane/Southside and Pinkpop, there are more mainstages in the navigation system. And always with a loving message of political attitude and sustainable action. An attitude that you can't afford to lose in almost 20 years of band life.
