LL ist zurück und kündigt sein erstes „richtiges“ Album an. „Phase“ ist wütend, zornig und emotional. Himmelhochjauchzend zu Tode betrübter angry young Boi erzählt aus seinem Leben und verschiedenen Phasen durch die man geht. Ein ganz großes Album mit pinkem Faden. Grunge und 90er meets Trap und 2023. Its not a phase, its just a phase! Lostboi Lino liebt Assoziationen, den Aufbau von Erwartungen und das Spielen mit der vermeintlichen Enttäuschung. Er singt fröhliche Melancholie und rappt intelligenten Punk. Lostboi Lino liebt Rebellen: Kurt Cobain, David Bowie, Rio Reiser, Udo Lindenberg oder Lil Peep. Wenn man ehrlich ist, dann macht Lostboi Lino keinen Rap. Aber wenn man ehrlich ist, dann rappt er auch auf Beats. Aber eben nur auch. Auch legt er Gefühle auf einen Sound, der dem musikalischen Kosmos der 90er entstammen könnten und mehr Seattle-Grunge in sich trägt als New Yorker Boombap. Aber dann kommt der Subbass und die 808s und alles ist klar.

LL is back and announces his first "real" album. "Phase" is angry, angsty and emotional. Sky high to deathly low, the album chronicles the life of our young angry Boi and the different phases one goes through. The result? An album with humongous spirit and a pink thread. Grunge and 90s meets Trap and 2023. Its not a phase, its just a phase! Lostboi Lino loves associations, building expectations and playing with the supposed disappointment. He sings with a happily melancholy voice and raps intelligent punk. Lostboi Lino loves rebels: Kurt Cobain, David Bowie, Rio Reiser, Udo Lindenberg or Lil Peep. If we're being honest, Lostboi Lino doesn't really rap. Honestly, he decorates his beats with rap. But it's just the cherry on top. He puts feelings on a sound that could on the one hand come from the musical cosmos of the 90s but has more Seattle grunge in it than New York boombap. But let's be clear... as soon as the sub bass and the 808s hits everything is clear.
