Singer-Songwriter, Umweltschützer | Goa/ Berlin
Ditty ist eine Stadtökologin und unabhängige Künstlerin aus Indien, die derzeit in Berlin / Goa lebt. Ihre Arbeit bewegt sich an den Schnittstellen von Ökologie, Kunst und Design. Sie begann damit, auf der Straße zu musizieren, um öffentliche Räume zurückzuerobern. Im Laufe der Jahre hat sie in der Musikindustrie Raum für die Stimmen von Frauen, Umweltschützern und marginalisierten Gemeinschaften geschaffen. Derzeit arbeitet sie mit der deutschen Organisation Viva Con Agua zusammen, um ein Künstlerkollektiv - Faraway Friends - zu gründen, das dringende ökologische Themen durch Kunst und Integration anspricht. Im Jahr 2020 hat Ditty mit ihrer Tournee Make Forests Not War die erste klimaneutrale Tournee in Indien ins Leben gerufen. Als Künstlerin und Aktivistin war sie unter anderem bei Radio One Berlin, BBC World Service und Rolling Stone zu hören.

Singer-Songwriter, Environmentalist | Goa/ Berlin
Ditty is an urban ecologist and independent artist from India, currently based in Berlin /Goa. Her work lies at the intersections of ecology, art and design. She started by playing music on the streets to reclaim public spaces. Over the years, she has created space in the music industry for voices of women, environmentalists and marginalised communities. She is currently collaborating with German organisation Viva Con Agua, to set up an artist collective– Faraway Friends, to address urgent ecological topics through art and inclusion. In 2020, with her tour Make Forests Not War, Ditty created the first carbon neutral tour in India. As an artist and activist, she has been featured on Radio One Berlin, BBC World service, Rolling Stone and others.
