Polina Soloveichik was born in Russia, lived and studied in the US, and is currently based in Berlin. While studying at Pratt Institute, she began to paint on the streets of New York and learned to make work inseparable from its place and context. As as street artist, she worked and exhibited internationally under the name Solovei. Her focus on site-specific projects in tandem with a passion for painting and narratives has lead Polina to mural art and have become the focus of her practice.
